Not only in US (Triple-digit heat records) (100 degrees Fahrenheit = 37.8 degrees Celsius), here in Europe we also have the same heat – Europe suffers in sweltering heat:
Temperatures have been hovering near the 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit) mark in many capital cities.
Where I am sitting now is about 30C.

As said toby in sleepinginairports.net “it looks like a refugee camp with the amount of people sleeping”.
I was there one night, arrived at midnight. Almost all comfortable seats were occupied. Many more travelers arrived later that night.
