LG Optimus One P500 updated to Gingerbread – 2.3.3 (20c)

UPDATE Aug 30, 2012. Consider updating your Optimus One with CyanogenMod — CM7 or CM9. LG Optimus One, P500, V in xda-developers. Original CM ROMs for Optimus One.

Yesterday I was updating my Android phone LG Optimus One P500 to latest firmware. Reading comments from GSM Arena I thought that it is update to some 2.2.x version. To my surprise I saw Gingerbread 2.3.3 version after reboot. Another surprise was that all apps and settings was preserved during update.

The bad news is that multitouch is still not fully fixed, and lag is still here.

Below are some screenshots from the upgrade process. And the about page taken with screenshot software w/o rooting. The update process was the same as always – more screenshots here.

  2. Somehow strangely I have LG-P500 with Android version 2.3.3, the same 2.6.35.10-perf lg-electronics@LGERP-BLD-LNX2 #1 kernel and GRI40 build, but the software version differs.

    I have LG-P500-v20d instead of LG-P500-20c.
